Albert Rizzo

Attorney at Law, Certified Mediator

Albert Rizzo has over 35 years of experience litigating complex commercial business disputes, employment discrimination cases, employment law claims, and real estate and title disputes.  His practice areas also include business and corporate law, contract law, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and Italian law.  He serves as outsourced General Counsel for many small and closely-held businesses, individual entrepreneurs, and start-up companies.  In addition, because of his particular qualifications in employment law and human resources issues, he often acts as a legal consultant to Human Resources managers and personnel.

Mr. Rizzo is also a public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and a certified mediator for the state courts in New York.  As a mediator, he has mediated cases totaling nearly $100 million in claims—and successfully settled the majority of those cases.  Since 2012, Mr. Rizzo has also been an adjunct Assistant Professor at the New York University School of Professional Studies, where he teaches Conflict Resolution in the Workplace and Employment Law in the Human Capital Management Master’s Degree Program.  He brings an impressive wealth of litigation, mediation, business, and teaching experience to the table.
