Dr. Tom Marrs
For more than 20 years, Tom has maintained a private practice in adult and relationship psychology, as well as provided education, development, and consultation services to clients within the U.S as well as abroad. Tom's educational experience spans a broad range of small private companies, Fortune 500 corporations, government and law enforcement agencies, higher education, and volunteer organizations.
Prior to joining the Conflict Resolution Training Team, Tom enjoyed a career at Texas A&M University where he served as the Associate Director and teaching faculty at the prestigious Center for Executive Development in the Mays School of Business. Tom has expertise in applied psychology, focusing on conflict, workplace behaviors, emotional intelligence, communication, leadership and team performance, stress management, managing a multigenerational workforce, and managing difficult behaviors. Tom facilitates learning that is practical, retainable, and can be put to work immediately to bring changes in mindset and behaviors. His ability to connect with participants and utilize active learning has made Tom a standout within the field.
Tom received his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University and currently resides in College Station, Texas.
