Georgianna Regnier

Attorney at Law, Certified Mediator

Georgianna Regnier has represented corporate and individual clients in the areas of business litigation and employment law in state and federal courts for over thirty years. She has broad experience in dispute resolution and as a court appointed arbitrator and Pro Tem Mandatory Settlement Conference Judge. She advises non-profit charitable corporations and serves as general counsel on a variety of local and international boards.  

 

Georgianna’s license to practice law extends from all California courts to Washington, D.C. She recently prevailed before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, a decision that reversed a United States Federal Court of Claims employment related judgment. Her wide-ranging experience in the field of employment law includes groundbreaking antidiscrimination cases. Prior to opening the Law Offices of Georgianna Pennington Regnier, she was the  founding partner of Pennington and Fisher, Ventura County’s only all women-owned law firm at the time.

 

Georgianna has lectured extensively on employment related topics including corporate culture, employment discrimination and workplace bullying. Her focus on civility in the workplace extends to civility in the law – leading her to cofound the Ventura County Chapter of Inns of Court, a branch of the American Inns of Court, while serving as the first woman President of the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association.
