Mandy Butler

Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Private Practice Owner

Mandy has provided psychotherapy and psychoeducation services to hundreds of clients for more than a decade in community, school, non-profit, inpatient and outpatient environments, and owns a private practice. Her work as a faculty member on the Conflict Resolution Training Team builds on experience in assisting clients with productive communication, positive assertiveness, healthy boundaries, managing mood and stress response, mindfulness, conflict resolution and self-care. Essentially navigating the relationship with the self and others, at home, work and times of transition.

 

Prior to becoming a therapist, Mandy worked in public relations, marketing and event planning serving university, corporate and non-profit clients. Mandy’s interest in how to enhance quality of life through the study of mental and behavioral health led her to direct clinical work, where she also has obtained master level training in Brainspotting.

 

Mandy creates a learning space that is engaging and collaborative, allowing trainees to gain practical knowledge and skills that can translate to meaningful results.

 

Mandy received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
