She is now acclaimed for her passion-led approaches that set students up for sustainable success and highlight the notions of inclusiveness and acceptance among academic peers. However, what sets Tracey apart is her ability to empower students to view developmental disorders as a non-value-dening label and proving that regardless of the starting line, everyone can exceed their expectations.

Tracey's experience in working with children who are fighting to overcome severe trauma is extensive. She has spent close to three decades supporting both classroom and home environments, ranging from being a foster parent for 15 years to accentuating learning environments to make a positive difference for those who are developmentally delayed. She discovered a growing passion for working with special needs children that would go on to form a 30-year career serving in both homes and schools. Tracey's main objective was to make a difference in the lives of children, especially those who experience slow learning or are developmentally delayed.

Tracey's desire to make a positive impact led her to foster parenting. This experience gave her an improved understanding that the home and school system must work together to ensure an optimal outcome for each child. Tracey's work as a foster parent has been a major influence on her career as an educator. Her knowledge and experience in both home and school environments have made her a highly sought after special education teacher and trainer.

Tracey has a unique approach to teaching that is rooted in the understanding that every child is different. She recognizes that each child comes with their own strengths and challenges. Tracey's approach is to work with the child to create an individualized education plan that is tailored to their specific needs. This approach has been highly successful and has resulted in higher yields in progression reports, academic/social satisfaction, and documented student improvements in both the school and home settings.

Tracey's passion for education has led her to expand her reach beyond the classroom. She now utilizes her past experience to provide corporate training. Focusing on conflict resolution and mediation, she finds inspiration in being able to help others gain a better understanding of new concepts and develop the skills needed to place children on a path to overcoming their hurdles. She hopes that the future will open doors for her to travel throughout.
